Building on lessons learnt at Yahoo!, Google, and Amazon, we created the best big data predictive analytics platform in the industry and have used it to deliver solutions that have delighted our customers.
Today, we are announcing our merger with Apigee. The combined company will allow us to serve our current customers better and place us in a stronger position to meld predictive analytics and API technologies into a powerful digital transformation platform.
Apigee’s API technology manages business to consumer interactions for mobile applications. InsightsOne’s predictive analytics increases the relevance and profitability of business to consumer interactions. We believe that the combined company will help enterprises create rich and intelligent consumer experiences as well as manage and enrich business-to-business interactions.
InsightsOne customers will immediately benefit by the added capability to manage and enrich application interactions. For example, a health insurance company may offer fitness bands through a wellness program. Apigee’s existing API technology makes it possible to manage interactions that count the number of steps and record heartbeat and sleep patterns. With predictive analytics, we may deliver intelligent medication reminders or receive early diagnosis of sleep apnea or heart disorders by flagging anomalous patterns to doctors. API technology can also be used to exchange plan and subscription information with health insurance exchanges, to exchange claims data with providers, and exchange required data with government organizations such as the CMS.
As part of the Apigee team of more than 500 team members across the globe, we will be able to immediately add organizational depth to InsightsOne and our customers. We will have more development, services and support resources that will allow us to deliver more powerful and precise products and to better serve and support our customers. For our international customers, we’ll have a larger and stronger international team to support you. Most importantly, Apigee and InsightsOne can help business leaders put big data intelligence to work immediately and continuously, delivering unmatched agility for today’s digital enterprise.
